Strike Policy |

Laptipid.com uses a 3-strike policy to moderate the members and control the information on this site. For each offense against the Site Policies, the member, whether Regular or Premium, will be given one (1) strike. If the member has accumulated a total of three (3) strikes, the member is automatically suspended from using the site. A member's strikes are automatically reset to zero (0) once they upgrade their membership from Regular to Premium or upon Premium membership renewal. |

Always keep in mind that this site is solely used for trading laptops/netbooks and laptop/netbook-related items. As such, only laptop/netbook-related items may be posted on this site. Any member violating this policy will have their ad removed from the site and will be given a strike, which could ultimately lead to an indefinite account suspension. |

Ad Title Capitalization Policy |

Only model names, hardware serials (e.g. ST340810A) and product abbreviations (e.g. PCMCIA, RAM, GB, HDD, etc.) are allowed to be capitalized on the ad title. Product brands (e.g. LENOVO, SEAGATE, DELL, etc.) and product name/category (e.g. BATTERY, LAPTOP, POWER CORD, etc.) should not be all capitalized as this is indicates screaming. There are no capitalization limits on the ad description area. Any member violating this policy will have their ad removed from the site and will be given a strike, which could ultimately lead to an indefinite account suspension. |

Image Utilization Policy |

Only .jpg/.jpeg and .gif image files may be used in the Description area when posting an ad. A maximum image size of 800 pixels (width) by 600 pixels (height) may be used. Any member violating this policy will have their ad removed from the site and will be given a strike, which could ultimately lead to an indefinite account suspension. |
